Responsibilities
This individual will focus on mechanical design/architecture design/thermal design for video conferencing equipment. Good communication skill and innovative thinking is part of the work environment.
Job responsibility:
- Works with HW design teams to define the PCB size and connector positions.
- Choose Power Supply according to the maximum power needed.
- Chassis and front/rear panel design of video conferencing terminals and MCUs
- 3D component accurate modeling and 3D product picture exhibition
- Interior architecture design, including layout of different function modules
- Thermal design. Based on the power dissipation and thermal characteristics of each component and air flow speed, choose the right cooling fans and heat sinks to control junction temperature below the highest operating temperature.
- Mould design directing, manufacture introducing and sustaining.
Requirements
Required skills:
- 机械工程/流体力学, or equivalent, and 3 plus years related experience
- Communicates effectively (verbal and written)
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Knowledge on thermal design aspects (junction temperature ,thermal resistance, ambient temperature, etc)
- In-depth AutoCAD 3D design experience
Not required but a Plus to have:
- Mould design experience
- Working experience in communication industry.
