Role Definition
Title:
Reporting To:Business Manager-Asia
Incumbent:TBA
Role Purpose:
To be the internal contact for Mono Pump equipment sales application support based in the Shanghai Office of National Oilwell Varco. Facilitating improvements in service levels through developing accurate customer feedback to internal process managers. Actively support the work undertaken by the Mono Account Representatives. Provide assistance to customers/distributors on orders, product data and after-market services ,occasionally visiting customers/distributors when the need arises. Provide technical and commercial assistance on issues raised and follow up quotations issued. Provide comprehensive reports on the level of enquiries and orders received from the Region.
Responsibilities:
Selection of equipment from the company's range of products that is appropriate to the customer requirements , pricing , preparation and submission of tenders/quotations.
Answer technical and commercial questions raised by the customers on a day to day basis.
To develop regular communication with customers on service requirements and service levels being experienced in the market. Actively feeding back concerns and successes to Account Representatives and Mono management.
Reports to be generated in line with monthly reporting requirements ,on sales and quotation activities.
To assist with specific marketing support issues, including translation, brochure availability and exhibition support as necessary
Provide training to customer/distributor personnel as and when necessary.
Provide support for Account Representatives based in Asia and work closely with the Mono Account Representatives.
Liaise with Mono personnel as necessary in UK/Australia/USA.
Key performance measures
Service levels to customers/distributors.
Revenue and margin growth.
Sales forecast accuracy.
Quotation to order conversion rate.
Ldentification and monitoring of key projects.
Quotation leadtimes
Qualifications
English-excellent reading and spoken skills required
Mechanical engineering background/degree
Pump industry experience an advantage
