Main Tasks:
Develop multiple entry points/relationships with key parties in the clients’ organizations and ensure that the progress made is in line with clients’ expectations. Drive and develop client specific business plans for clients. Actively assist in the securing of new businesses (as appropriate) Create/Maintain an excellent market as well and our CB network. Set budgets and ensure that all staff work within that budget. Including training, T&E and transport. Promote new services and successes to the broader business. Maintain current client relationships and support other client managers to secure long-term mutually beneficial contracts.
Purpose
• To lead client development & service team to serve selected Key electronics clients in GCA. • Identify potential logistics business opportunity for selected clients and propose our logistics as the preferred service provider, Maximize our share of wallet in clients. • Deliver targets in terms of identified • Apply specialized supply chain development resources to client in order to maximize development returns and enhance client value. Ensure that our Logistics is seen to be world class in the execution of Supply Chain Development. • Influence and negotiate development projects with client leveraging on relationship formed with key parties in the client organization. • Support Logistics country and Area Logistics Managers in the execution of development solutions for the client in your area of responsibility. • Apply your specialist knowledge of markets and industries to support the sales efforts to new clients, including supporting the Integrated Sales force with tenders and sales presentations. • Develop a world class platform for development of clients with your area. Principal Accountabilities
Strategy
Drive and develop client specific development strategy. Establish profit growth targets for client. Guide Execution to set operational excellence targets for your client. Establish targets for measuring and managing organizational fitness within client team including training, team composition, client satisfaction, job satisfaction & succession planning. Actively supports the Head of CDM to establish mechanism for driving the necessary knowledge growth within department to lead clients through profitable development projects. Actively supports the Head of CDM to establish a methodology for supporting the sales process with integrated sales, solution support and other stakeholders. Actively supports the Head of CDM in developing client development strategy and tactics, including global CDM (KCM) workshops. Actively supports the Head of CDM in establishing clear rules of engagement between other internal Departments – Solution Design, Product Management, PSD, etc. Monitor and ensure execution of strategy takes place. In coordination with Logistics Management and Global Industries - Electronics develop, define and communicate an annual sales plan specific to further penetrating the account’s global business enterprise.
Drive necessary change/actions in that strategy to meet the new business development expectations.
Manage opportunity mapping for product offering to client
Solution Design & Execution
Analyze complex supply chain problems involving several client departments (finance/logistics/ merchandising). Design or modify processes or products to solve problems and enhance client value using own imitative and/or existing procedures. Establish pricing and marketing strategies to sell solutions profitably to clients.
Job Knowledge and Competency
Manage and Client through broad knowledge of Logistics and Electronics industry. Professional logistician. Masters degree or equivalent experience. Client Management experience. Electronics/ Supply Chain Management experience Sales Management experience.
