Candidate will be responsible for writing IC design requirements, designing high performance video and audio processing ICs used in advanced TV systems. Furthermore, candidate will simulate verification designs that meet design requirements, work with foundries to fabricate and test IC designs, debug chips as necessary. Job involves design of test hardware and test software, documentation of design and test results. Additionally, candidate will work with vendors to develop production and acceptance testing.
Qualification:
Ideal candidate will have one complete cycle of IC product design, Experience with HDL development and sign off, IC layout experience working with layout designers. Experience with Verilog/VHDL codes, digital/analog/mixed signal ASIC design from conceptualization to production, use of IC simulation and layout tools and a good understanding of issues and limitations related to modeling/tools is required. Experience with IC design flow is desirable. Requirements include a BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, excellent English language skills - oral and written, proven interpersonal, group and communication skills. Experience working with multinational companies is a plus.
