Customer Quality Engineer in China

* Job Description *

The Customer Quality Engineer (CQE) works with customers to drive quality improvement and customer satisfaction using various Quality/Engineering tools.  Responsibilities included being the Skyworks Quality focal point in China for tier-one customers.  Further duties include determining customer quality and reliability requirements ; acting as customer liaison to ensure good communication/relationship regarding new and existing product quality and service quality; participate, facilitate, coordinate corrective and preventive actions; performing process or gap analysis for key product development or manufacturing processes, and recommending process changes to improve product quality; collection and analysis of key quality metric information; interfacing with various quality issues with key customers; and creation and submittal of Failure Analysis and Corrective Action reports.

Specific Knowledge / Skills *

       Bachelor/Master’s degree in (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial) Engineering.
       Understanding of ISO 9000 and Quality System.  
       Extensively using the Six Sigma Methodologies  
       Statistical Process Control
       Design of Experiment
       Measurement System Analysis
       FMEAs and Control Plan
       8D Problem Solving
       Good communication skill in English
       Chinese reading/writing/speaking ability as a requirement.
