Title: System Validation Engineer – DTV Premise System
(Senior & Junior)
Laboratory :CPS (System Validation Lab) Location: Beijing
Reports to : Project Leader

Role Responsibility :
We are involved in the different stages of a product life cycle to guarantee our Digital TV STB and HDTV (Cable, Satellite, Terrestrial and IP) products which are developed, maintained according to the applicable quality standards, guidelines and regulations, and to provide well-documented evidences of the production\'s quality.

Job description :
- Participate in analyzing and investigation for the concepts and requirenments of product.
- Contribute in system valdiation plan define with test stratagem considering.
- Develop test cases to ensure the product’s conformance to requirements, standards.
- Paticipate in testing and validating the product from system level and performing test coverage analysis.
- Customer field support (Field test, exhibitions, pre-sales, …)
- Contribute in certifications activities (CAS, HDMI, USB, cable modem, EMC&Safety, life test…)
- Developing tools to support our products testing activities, such as stream analyzer/editor, automation test tools and test scripts....
- Competitive analysis (Product features & performances benchmarking)

Required profile :
General
- Fluent English language: Mandatory,
- Good communication capability: Mandatory,
- Good self-sufficiency: Mandatory,
- High degree of initiative and responsibility

Specific
- Bachalor/MS degree above in Electrical or Communication engineering or Compute Science
- Solid background in digtal communication theory and information theory.
- Above 2 years development or testing/validation experience on embedded IRD products.
- Professional experience on video encoding/coding techniques (MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.264, AVS, etc.)
- Good experience on digital video broadcast (DVB, ATSC…) or Networks and Telcom area (Video of IP, IPTV…).
- Good experience on DHCP, TFTP/FTP, SNMP, RTP… protocol is mandatory for our IP STB product line.
- Skilled in auto test script development, be falilair with Python, Perl, TCL, Java..any one of them is good plus.
- Good experience on Unix, Liux administration is plus
