A well established Multi-National Freight Forwarder invites high caliber candidates to join our MIS Team in Shenzhen.
Job Title: Technical and Software Support Representative
Office: Shenzhen office
Supervisor: Office Manager (Shenzhen) and Project Manager (Hong Kong)
Job Specification
Focus of this post is to help our project team to support customers internally and externally on our self-designed and developed web application systems. Responsibilities of Technical and Software Support Representative are including but not limited to following:
1)Local Network and Internet Connectivity
a.Install, maintain and support network devices such as firewall, router and hubs in Shenzhen office.
b.Install, maintain and support virus protection server in Shenzhen office.
c.Monitor and analyze LAN and Internet traffic usage
d.Analyze the exposure to security threats and protect the organization’s systems and data from hostile applications and viruses.
2)Hardware Setup and Maintenance
a.Install, maintain and support Windows 2003 file server, Windows 2003 Domain Server and server in future in Shenzhen.
b.Install, maintain and provide technical support on accounting packages being use in Shenzhen office.
c.Install, maintain and support Document Scanning device and station in Shenzhen.
d.Responsible for installation, maintenance and trouble shooting of all personal computers being used by end-users.
3)Data Backup
a.Fully responsible for all data backup and restore of servers, accounting packages and application servers.
4)Equipment Purchase, Setup and Inventory Control
a.Execution of new hardware and software purchase
5)Software Support
a.Support internal users on general office automation software such as Microsoft Office, Email, Fax and Document Scanning software.
b.Provide support and user training to internal users on our own web application software usage.
c.Provide support and user training to external users on our own web application software usage.
Requirements
1)University Graduated in Information Technology or Computer Studies related discipline.
2)MCSE for Windows 2000 or later version will be a definite advantage
3)Knowledge in office automation software such as MS Word and Excel is required
4)Knowledge in MS Office, Fax Server, Mail Server, Network security and management
5)Fluency in speaking Mandarin/Cantonese and writing Chinese
6)Good command of speaking and written English
7)Hard Working, Patient, Self-Motivated, Self-Initiated, be able to handle repetitive routine work and willing to learn.
