职位描述：
HKUST Fok Ying Tung Graduate School has set up a new research center, the Center for Spatial and Social Demographics (CSSD, 人口與社會分析中心) to facilitate data collection and integration, studies on regional and socio-demographic changes, and training on spatial and socio-demographic analysis in China.
The CSSD is now looking for several researchers/research analysts/statistical analysts capable of conducting progressive researches on population/migration/gis issues.
His/her duties will also include providing assistance to CSSD's forthcoming training programs. While primarily based in the HKUST campus in Nansha, Guangzhou city, the appointee may travel to HKUST campus in Hong Kong occasionally on projects. Candidates are ideally with a first or higher degree in the Social Science, Statistics, or relative quantitative disciplines, and have an effective command of English and Chinese. Technical experience in SAS and/or other statistical packages is a distinct advantage.
Candidate with strong technical background and programming skills will be considered as Research Analyst/Statistical Analyst. Qualified candidates with multi-year project experience will be considered as Senior Researcher/Analyst.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
