2. Main responsibilitiesCoordinate collection of quality reservoir parametersDevelop reservoir modelsEnhance G & G team capability of reservoir characterisation and being creative to reservoir data interpretation i.e. well testing etc.Analysis and simulation predictions based on reservoir model and varying parameters initiate a modify the stimulation design and implement action and production drillingIdentify and negotiate laboratory and other analysis for obtaining quality dataCompliance with all safety and environmental guidelines within your sphere of influencePreparation of cost estimates, tender documents and assistance in budgeting, planning and economic analysis for drilling related activitiesReport activities where appropriate to meet corporate, management and regulatory requirements c)To assist the G & G Manager and other Company personnel as directed, with: Coordination of a complex, multi
-discipline reservoir and simulation effort involving a range of resources (including company personnel, third party consulting firms, academic and quasi government research groups, and industry peer companies around the world) Administration, planning and budgeting for reservoir data collection. This will require working closely with the finance department. You will also assist in dealings with third party contractors and suppliers, and the related contractual matters affecting those relationships Assist with regulatory matters relating to SGE operations, and for ensuring that SGE is in compliance at all times and in all respects participate in other corporate functions in concert with the entire management team including relations with landowners, the local community, government, major investors and shareholders, as appropriate Recognising and bringing forward opportunities to add value and to improve SGEs Gas operations in the Chinese Basins d)Activities and responsibilities that you may be required to perform from time to time: Plan for and oversee site preparation and rehabilitation Representing SGE on site Liaise with landholders Performance Measures: Ability to develop meaningful and accurately predictive reservoir models Ability to ensure the availability of quality reservoir data Work plans and programs are written up and communicated satisfactorily Work plans are completed on time and within budget Accurate and prompt engineering analysis Strong teamwork and supportive culture Promote and practice a high level of safety and environmental awareness at all times Potential hazards are reported and corrected in a timely manner.
3. Major challenges To ensure that detailed, robust and effective reservoir models are developed so as to ensure the successful completion of commercial exploitation of the hydrocarbon resources held by the Company and an effective exploration program is planned and maintained.
