CBI now has a position open for a ‘Consultant’. The Consultant will be joining the Research & Consulting Team in Shanghai, reporting to project manager or department manager. The Consultant will be involved as both a Project Manager for smaller projects, and as a Team Member for larger projects. Typical projects include the development of market entry/expansion strategies, market research, and demand/supply trend etc. Currently we focus on commodity markets such as steel, oil & gas, paper etc.. ResponsibilityAssists Project Manager collecting market information (mainly through telephone interview and field interview).Collects and analyses market research data.Assists Project Manager accomplishing special report. Accomplishes periodical report independently.Candidate should Must possess strong primary research skills.Demonstrated strong quantitative skills.Possess ability to distill a complex problem down to a few key drivers.Ability to work through teams to accomplish goals.Strong communication and organization skills are required.Must be able to organize thoughts and explain work to audiences at different organizational levels.Ability to self
-direct and set priorities.Fluent in English.Must be proficient with Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
