Following is the JD.
1. Concept design for advanced control system of GE next generation multi MW wind turbine
* Determine control system functional requirements and direct control system development to meet these requirements
* Take responsibility for concept development, architecture design of control system (software platform and hardware configuration)
* Perform conceptual design modeling, optimization, simulation and associated software and hardware development
* Complete the design and review of GE NPI (New Product Introduction) Tollgates
2. New idea generation and GE NTI (New Technology Introduction) implementation
* BS and above degree with major in electrical engineering, automation control, computer technology or other related disciplines.
* Minimum working experience in above areas: BS with 6 years, MS with 3 years and PhD with 1 year
* Demonstrated understanding and practical experience on industrial control products and design processes, solid experience on PLC control
system development and application
* Demonstrated ability to convert high-level customer needs into a technical development strategy and design requirements
* Knowledge of control system, signal processing, estimation theory, system identification and optimization are required, as well as simulation and coding
* Interact and collaborate with GE Marketing and Sales team to understand advanced customer needs and future directions of global wind
business growth and wind turbine development
* Understand GE advanced technology and products in areas of material, mechanical, electrical and control, as well as to global industrial edge technology and products
* Form the collaborations with GE GRC (global research center) and external leading laboratories and university research centers
* Take responsibility for new idea generation and NPI implementation as the input of wind turbine concept design.Present research findings with business impact to GE management team and at external leading scientific and technical conferences
