JOB DUTIES:This role is responsible and accountable for the analysis and maintenance of purchasing and quality data including but not limited to; purchase orders, quotations, invoices, source catalogs, material rejection disposal reports, tooling records, supplier data and measurements.Works effectively with colleagues, customers, and suppliers at all levels.Will demonstrate project leadership skill level required to collect, compile, assimilate, communicate, and maintain information as required. Maintain the highest ethical and professional standards within this diverse global organization.Perform analytical and administrative tasks in support of Global Purchasing strategic initiatives. This role may support Buyers, Supplier Development Engineers, and/or Managers working with category teams and sites. Customer(s) will be fully informed of progress on assignments to ensure all requirements are met. ELIGIBILITY: Administrative background in Purchasing, Finance, or Manufacturing Operations preferred. Career advancement to a Buyer position will require a Bachelors degree or a country specific equivalent.Intermediate to advanced skill in use of computer software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Visio, PowerPoint, purchasing systems, and e
