Description Individual in this role will need to develop a understanding of the requirements for data collection and reporting of repair and call data. Initially the individual in this roll will help define and develop data collection and reporting processes that meet the organizations needs. In order to do this, the analyst will need to have a strong background in database structures, techniques for querying databases, understanding the limitation of the data sources. Attention to detail is critical in this role. The analyst will also need to have and understanding of statistics and reporting methods, graphing and interpreting data. These skills require an engineering/technical background. In parallel, there will be a need to assist the business in acquiring and reporting on specific product data requirements. In a mature state, the data lead will have established reports and process that the business can use to run day to day operations. The person in this role will also be responsible for training and enabling others to access and utilize data and reporting tools. Strong English communication and leadership skills are required. Specific responsibilities Parts Structuring Warranty financial analysis (collection of the data and then create reports) Support the Warranty Management System Working with CPE projects Monthly Data Analysis & Reporting Qualifications QualificationsBachelors (undergraduate), or Masters in technical discipline Skills needed Data base set up and reporting experienceTeam facilitationStrong collaborative skillsAbility to manage a wide variety of tasksDatabase experience
-working knowledge of SQL and/or query tools such as MS Access or BrioTechnical knowledge/familiarity with HP printing products would be a plusAbility to train others.Excellent MS Excel skills with proficiency in Pivot tablesAbility to learn and quickly utilize proprietary data analysis toolsAnalysis experience
