职位描述(Job Descriptions)：
An intermediate-level position as part of the software development team designing and developing advanced large-scale high-availability multi-tier transactional systems.

Seeking qualified Java developer with knowledge of common software engineering concepts, technologies, and practices. Will be component owner for systems with large real-world customer base.

Responsibilities include:
? Develop or modify software based on requirement. Must utilize good design practices, documentation, and security policies.
? With supervision from development team leads, develop, test, resolve defects, and document assigned application modules. Participate in design and code reviews with leads and peers.
? Follow the process of an iterative software development life cycle. Including proper interactions with development, project management, quality assurance, database, and production support personnel.
? Gain clear understanding of the application architecture, database design, and business domain for the assigned products.
? Keeping up with new technology and extend its applicability to the product.
? Perform the above duties for new implementations and maintenance of existing systems in production.

? Provide day-to-day support for 24x7 Oracle databases and services. Available for after-hour on-call support
? Implement, test and maintain backup and recovery procedures using RMAN
? Install, maintain and refresh Oracle databases for development, test and production environments
? Perform Oracle patching, upgrade and migration as necessary
? Responsible for maintaining database configurations in compliance with security policy and standard; establish and manage user access, design and implement security architecture.
? Monitor security breaches, error logs, space, user activity and resource utilization of production environment. Ensure production systems meet performance and availability requirements
? Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the database architecture and the application functionality for multiple, complex applications
? Responsible for database design and implementation for various projects
? Provide expert assistance in SQL statement tuning, indexing, and partitioning to improve application performance
? Work with other teams to promote changes to production and other environments

Qualifications:
? Working Experience in supporting mission critical databases
? Hands-on skills and knowledge of Oracle 9i/10g database design, implementation, and administration in Linux, UNIX and Solaris environments
? Experience in RMAN backup and recovery
? Strong skill and knowledge in performance tuning from both database design and SQL coding perspectives
? Good understanding of RAC, physical and logical standby, and other high availability and disaster recovery technologies
? Experience in both logical and physical RDBMS designs
? Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and excellent learning abilities
? Advanced multitasking capabilities and a strong team player
? Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
Experience:
? 2+ years experience in Oracle database administration and development
? 4 year college degree in computer and related fields is preferred
? Candidates with MS SQL Server administration experience is a plus

This individual will be a key resource in our team, developing and testing medium to large transaction processing systems for ACS customers worldwide.

Duties will include developing and writing test plans, building tools, coding of testing frameworks and development of test case scenarios for various products and customers, and the development of testing code in a multi-platform environment. This includes Client Server and Database testing for both internal and external components.

Education and Typical Years of Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 2 years of progressively responsible related technical experience, including 1 year developing large, technically complex systems and 6 months with major responsibility for developing, revising and controlling technical documentation of a complex system.

Specific Requirements:
Experience with Unix/Linux/Redhat systems, Windows server based Applications, jBoss and / or Weblogic Application servers.

Required Skills:
Knowledge of client/server and database products on multiple platforms and in a multi-user environment
Previous experience working with software development resources to ensure the quality of software products by reviewing and developing unit tests and functional specifications
Experience testing software releases and providing input for creating and executing subsystem and system level tests
Experience in the process of accepting formal builds, and certifying all builds for release.
Experience with software quality techniques in an RDBMS (Oracle, Sybase, MS SQL Server) environment
Script languages (Shell, Perl) programming.
Experience in development and execution of testing harnesses.
Experience with automated Testing tools in a practical application.
Familiarity with both Windows and Unix Operating systems at an administrative level (minimum).

Database administration including SQL programming.
