ESSENTIAL FUNCTION / RESPONSIBILITIES:
*The primary responsibility of this role is the improvement of processes in GE Sensing & Inspection.
*In particular leading multiple projects (DMAIC, Lean or otherwise) to develop and drive the implementation of best practices and deliver measurable results within the Sales, Commercial Operations and Customer Care functions across China
*To lead Lean Six Sigma initiative across NPI, ITO and OTR processes
*To support the development of the Lean Six Sigma culture within the organization, educate, coach and mentor team members on Lean Six Sigma tools, techniques and application.
*The Lean Six Sigma Black Belt program in GE is a leadership development program for high potentials that already have some leadership experience and are willing to lead larger projects with high priority for the business.
*Within the position the candidate will certify as Lean Six Sigma Black BeltQUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
*Analytical problem solving skills, experience in scoping and analyzing cross
-functional projects and generating and implementing solutions.
*Strong project management skills; experience in leading cross
-functional teams.
*Substantial previous business experience with successful track record of results.
*Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work effectively, influence and gain commitment with all organizational levels.
*Must be willing to travel up to 20
-30% of time, primarily to other GE Sensing & Inspection locations as required.
*High PC proficiency.
*Fluency in English (spoken and written).
