RequirementsEducation: a university bachelor degree, preferably in Physical Education or Sports/Events Management. A second degree in Office Administration or solid secretarial experience in lieu of this second degree is advantageous. Other educational qualifications could be considered as a substitute for the previously listed qualifications.Knowledge of sports rules, regulations and expectations associated with sports team management, and the administration of games and tournaments.Familiarity with Shanghai area athletic organizations and the structure that exists for scheduling sports games within the Shanghai communityAptitude for maintaining contact with athletic organizations, and developing athletic relationships, between Shanghai American School and the Shanghai community.An aptitude for, or experience in, administering a Sports or Activities program (or related) with the International Community.Language: Fluency in English and Mandarin, both spoken and written.Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with Shanghai and International communitys business representatives, area schools, and suppliers of athletic/activities resources.Willingness to work evenings, weekends or an alternate schedule, if necessary.Technology Skills: preferably to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Power
-point, Photoshop.
