Purpose of the Position
- To Independently handle the booking procedure for client XX
- To assist to ensure a smooth operation and prevent major service failures
- To follow the client specific SOP 100%General responsibilities
- Send vendor welcome letter to new vendors and educate them in our booking procedure.
- Perform vendor management, i.e. making sure vendor is contacted if booking not received.
- Receive booking from vendors via MLOG booking format or MPS
- Update or amend booking information in MODS
- Check booking according with SOP or Log
*IT information and confirm to vendors
- Confirm booking with destination office or client directly including PO/SKU discrepancies, via P/A or MCS.
- Send booking approval (upon received from destination office/client) to vendor.
- Send cargo delivery notice to vendor
- Send weekly space forecast to OPS or carrier directly and book space with carrier
- Make trucking plan together with OPS for CY shipments
- Make CLP and send to Warehouse for CFS shipments
- Collect export documents from vendors.
- Check cargo receiving status with Warehouse (no of cartons, weight, CBM, PO/SKU, equipment)
- Communicate any amendments/changes to the booking to destination or client directly.
- Collect Textile Duty from vendors according to SGH MLOG IOP.
- Communicate any special/additional charge to Documentation person.
- Communicate with Customs House Broker for Customs clearance issues.
- Check container ¡°on board status¡± on carrier web

- Follow up on the 5 different outstanding reports made by Finance (Outstanding, Cost Control, Not Invoiced, Textile Duty Outstanding, Textile Duty Penalty Outstanding)
- Arrange vendor workshop/training together with Group Leader
- Promote MPS/Easybook bookings and actively try to sell trucking to vendors through telephone and visits
- Make SOP review together with Group Leader and Documentation personPosition RequirementsEssential:
