Locationbased in Shanghai, China (local package)Job Scope and ResponsibilitiesApply solid process technology fundamentals to the development of NPIs: actively lead the scale
-up phase and be involved in all phases of the commercial development of new silicone chemicals.Work with product developers to design relevant experiments to ensure the new product satisfies has optimal formulation and process conditions.Calculate various cost options and design for optimal costs.Work with marketing and customers to map the value stream of the NPI to calculate the NPIs incremental value to the customer so to optimize the value.Work with sourcing to define optimal inputs specification for the NPIs, and to work on opportunities for raw material deflation for existing grades as well.Apply learnings to suggest capability improvements to existing products as well.Key Qualifications and SkillsRequirements:Degree in Chemical Engineering.Ability to lead change in a cross
-functional team.Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.Strong Chinese and English speaking and written skills required.Familiarity with application of statistical data analysis.Desired:Advanced Degree In Chemical Engineering.Experience in the technical development of new commercial specialty chemicalsBasic knowledge of silicone chemistry.Japanese language skills.
