Business Unit DescriptionSTG Lab Based Services (LBS) is a pool of highly skilled, experienced resources that:
- Improves business solutions for servers and storage
- Focuses on solving the customers business problem by architecting, designing, delivering, installing, optimizing, and providing skills transfers for solutions & applications which helps to sell servers and storage.The LBS organization within STG that:
- Delivers advanced solution/application development services
- Performs IT optimization studies and recommends strategies
- Operates onsite or remotely
- Works collaboratively, complementary with STG, IGS, ISS & BCS and Business Partners
- Works on a billable, cost
-recovery basisJob DescriptionBased on customers requirement, design and implement HPC cluster with IBM hardwares. HPC performance tuning.QualificationsBachelor or higher, major in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering;Desired Experience
- Linux system administration/configuration/network;
- HPC(high performance computing) cluster architecture and related technologies;
- Hands
-on experience on HPC cluster implementation and troubleshooting;
- Hands
-on experience on IBM xSeries server and BladeCenter servers;
- Familiar with shell scripts programming and Linux Kernel/Module customization;
- Experience on IBM pSeries, AIX and IBM Storage products is a plus;
- Experience on parallel programming or HPC application is a plus;Certification: RHCE is preferred.Desired Skills
