KEYACCOUNTABILITY:Primary purpose of this role / function. To be the catalyst in maintaining a flow of accurate information and product between various China contacts and various Sydney office personnel.POSITION KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintain production and shipping records of goods being produced in ChinaAmend computer (BPCS) shipping records as required Create Purchase OrdersFollow up key order deliveries eg air shipments, advertised linesPass as acceptable fabric samples and sample garments before they are forwardedProcure and forward swatches of fabric stocks from mills and factoriesAccompany GNB personnel to suppliers and factories if required.KEY MEASUREMENT CRITERIA:Accuracy of data input and information passed to SydneyAbility to create and maintain good working relationships in China and Sydney Be proactive and understand standards and product requirements of brands DECISION MAKING AUTHORITYDecisions Expected Recommendations ExpectedAfter a period, reject unacceptable lab dips, trial weaves or garment samples to save valuable transit to Sydney time.Reject and renegotiate better revised shipment dates from factories if delays ariseAbility in time to decide what stock fabric patterns should be sent or not.New sources of supply after consultation with managerWays in which we can streamline our systems or information flow.IDEAL EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS / COMPETENCIES:Ability to understand spoken English on telephoneAbility to create understandable emails in English
