.A CAD Engineer is responsible for
- maintain ASIC COT tools environment.
- support third party tool kit/design kit/library kit..
- create project environment setup.
- support TSC COT design flow and meta-data environment (Pilot)
- support the developers in enhancing the COT environment.
- support the tools in the COT env. (Inclu: project clearcase setup)
- coordinate with TIS on hardware/software system setup and maintainence.
- coordinate with different group in TSC BJ on local IT requirement/policy.
- coordinate TSC CMM/ISO IT related management and audit.
(COT : customer owned tool)
Competencies:
Good Linux environment knowledge
Linux administrator skills
Experience with working on Linux systems
Has a SW background/education
Very familiar with Makefiles
Proficient at shell scripting (sh, bash, zsh, …)
Knowledge of perl, tcl script language.
Problem solving mind/skills
Good knowledge of Clearcase is a bonus
Experience with building compilers and cross compilers
Fluent in English
Experience in ASIC design environment would be a plus.
