Development projects progress in iterations and for each iteration (as well as sub-iterations); developers need an environment to effectively and accurately test a piece of code against a given environment. System Build Engineers are the ones who provide such environments through blade servers and virtual servers. The Build Engineer is also responsible for maintaining and configuring continuous build servers that will report and failed unit tests and code to the teams, when new code is submitted for a build.
Responsibility:
Provides development, testing and deployment environments for software solutions by working with the development and Quality Control (testing) teams.
Skill Requirements:
Experience in working with various MS Technologies and Servers
Experience in working with virtual server and Virtual PC environments
Experience in building and maintaining continuous build systems in a MS environment
Good Network and PC fault diagnosis and resolution in a distributed network environment.
Good understanding of security in a network environment
English writing/reading ability is essential
++ Experience in working with blade servers
++ Microsoft MCP, MCSE, MCSD, MCAD certification
++ Experience in agile development environment
++ Experience in a CMM/CMM based organization
++ Experience working in a foreign company environment
++ Fluent spoken English
