Job Responsibilities:
Duties include test planning, test case design, automation test suite development, testing tool and reusable module development, existing test harness maintenance, test execution and bug reporting. Testing environment is Linux, Java, J2EE, JUnit, JwebUnit, SOAP, JSP, SQL, QTP UI testing using VBScript, and Oracle. Tiered service architecture understanding, an architectural awareness of the problems of maintaining a scaling test automation architecture, and Linux and SQL language fluency are a must. Experience with MVC patterned frameworks such as Spring, as well as demonstrable fluency in both English and Mandarin, are a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Minimum:
Deep understanding of software development life cycle, quality assurance process, software test design strategy and software testing tools.
Solid knowledge of object-oriented software. Experience in API test design and implementation with Java, C# or C++.
Working knowledge of Linux, HTML, SOAP/Web Services/XML, client/server communications, relational database and SQL.
Motivated and eager to acquire new skills. Able to work independently and as a team; Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Quality assurance experience of multi-threaded, highly availability, and high performance J2EE middle tier web services.
Preferred:
Experience in J2EE, Tomcat/JSP container testing.
Experience in Oracle database.
Experience in Linux administration.
