【Responsibilities】
1. Study upper layer system algorithms of CDMA or evolution systems with taking lower layers into consideration;
2. Optimize end-to-end or cross-layer system performance for CDMA or evolution modem;
3. Work with other communications system engineers, software system engineers, and hardware system engineers to support technology feasibility study, architecture evaluation, and product/prototype development;
4. Create IP (intellectual property).

【Requirements】
Skills:
1. Experience on C, C++ or assembly language programming;
2. Experience with simulators or emulators;
3. Understanding of computer telephony, VoIP, QoS and understanding of networking principles and computer communication protocols such as TCP/IP, SIP, UDP, etc;
4. Understanding of protocol stack of wireless communication systems, such as cellular systems (UMTS, GSM/GPRS, CDMA, LTE, UMB, etc) or IEEE 802.x;
5. Understanding of radio network is a plus;
6. Good understanding of computer architecture, real-time multitasking RTOS, data structure is a plus;
7. Familiarity with ARM (or other uCPU) or DSP development platform simulation, debugging and emulation tools, HW/SW interface issues, embedded systems programming is a plus;
8. The team member should also be capable of estimating his/her own schedule, and managing work to that schedule;
9. Good English communication skill.
Qualifications:
1. MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related major with a high average score is minimum;
2. Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related major with a high average score is preferable.
