-Windows server (2003/2000) administration including DNS, DHCP, IIS, POP3, printing and file share, VPN, backup, etc.
-Linux/Unix (Solaris) administration and support.
-Network (LAN & WAN) configuration, monitoring, maintenance and trouble-shooting.
-Databases (Oracle, DB2, MS SQL server, MySQL, Sybase, Informix, PostgreSQL and Derby) installation, configuration, trouble- shooting and support.
-Internal web site maintenance.
-Hardware installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
-CVS server administration.
-Phone system maintenance.
Skills and Experience Requirements:
-Strong technical problem solving skills.
-Solid experience in Microsoft Windows server (2003/2000) and Unix (Solaris, Linux).
-Familiarity with databases (Oracle, MySQL, Derby).
-Knowledge of Windows 2003/2000 Server Active Directory.
-Familiarity with Unix Shell and Unix tool sed/awk.
-Familiarity with router and switch configuration/trouble-shooting, preferably Cisco product.
-Knowledge of network tools such as Sniffer, Ethereal, MRTG, system tools such as Norton Systemworks.
