Support the design of new sensor products.
Work as part of multi function product development team.
-Modification of existing drawings via Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and the creation of new drawings of piece parts, sub-assemblies and devices under the direction of the lead Mechanical Engineer and/or the Liaison Engineer.
-Master the document control system and modeling and document creation tools (Pro Engineer, Pro/Intralink, Auto Cad).
Qualifications
-University or college degree in engineering with extensive working experience.
-Demonstrated proficiency with Mechanical Design Automation (MDA/CAD) tools including ProEngineer and AutoCad as applied to solid model creation, detailed drawing generation, and assembly drawing creation is required.
-Experience with raster editing software is required.
-A thorough knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing is required.
-Good English communications skills, both oral and written, are required.
-Familiarity with the Pro/Intralink tool desired.
-Familiarity with PDM systems desired.
