用户体验专员负责将各种形式的研究和内容整合为导航明晰的信息设计方案，为客户传达独特的用户体验；用户体验专员需要在用户目标和客户目标间保持平衡，并为用户找到获取信息的最佳途径；用户体验专员在网站开发过程中与整个团队密切配合，他的职责如下：
- 为每个项目界定用户体验标准，在整个项目过程中进行用户体验规划，包括网站地图和网站架构、用户流程图、有线框架和功能规范；
- 根据需要对网站进行评估和内容审查；
- 与视觉设计团队协作，开发导航、互动，以及页面级别的信息设计；与文案协作，决定内容组织、命名规范，确保各类文字信息清晰一致；
- 向客户及团队说明信息架构的设计目的，以及相关的时间和工作；
- 向客户演示通过信息架构传达的用户体验；
- 评估信息架构的技术可行性；
- 开发功能规范及测试计划文档；
- 总的说来，你需要对传达以用户为中心的方案拥有全局观，你需要根据用户调查和可用性测试来推导出用户体验原则，你需要对项目结果和数据分析进行研究，开发用户体验模型/原则，构建以用户为中心的整体体验线索。

Job Descriptions

User Experience Specialist is responsible for synthesizing various forms of research and content into informational and navigational design solutions to deliver a specific user experience for our clients. The person must have good balance between consumer and client objectives to find solutions that capture the most appropriate paths between users and the information they need. The person works closely with all in-house teams involved in the web development process with the following responsibilities:

- Define user experience for each project. And document the user experience through all phases of a project, including site maps and architectures, user flow diagrams, wire frames, and functional specifications.
- Perform site assessments and content audits as needed.
- Partner with visual design team to develop navigation, interactions and page-level information design. Partner with copy writers to determine organization, and naming schemes, and to ensure that all directional copy is clear and consistent.
- Articulate to client and team the purpose for each IA deliverable, and the time and effort involved.
- Conduct client presentations of User Experience as documented in IA deliverables.
- Lead technical feasibility reviews of IA deliverables.
- Development of functional specifications and test plan documents.
- Overtime, you are expected to develop a holistic view to delivering user-centered solutions. You need to derive user experience principles base on user-centered research and usability test. You need to systematically derive learning through the results and data analysis from our projects. Develop models / principles of experience, and constructs a meaningful overall user-centered story line.

Requirements

The position is fit for those with a logical training background (e.g. computer, maths, physics, etc.) but at the same time have the passion on creative and experience delivery (e.g. drama, design, arts, etc.)

- Excellent written skill and able to develop professional documentations.
- Team player with effective interpersonal skills.
- Thorough, detail-oriented, highly organized and self motivated.
- Ability to multi-task and able to work under pressure.
- Ability to take a creative approach to problem solving.
- Experience in applying research and analysis to site development, or usability practices / testing will be an added advantage.
- Degree or advanced degree in related field including usability engineering, human-computer interaction (HCI), computer science, experience design or psychology will be an advantage.
