PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Milife® Application Server platform is a carrier grade platform built on top of Solaris and Linux. It provides hosting environment for C++ and Java applications. The platform is composed of multiple subsystems including protocol stacks in SS7 and IMS, Service Management Interface (SMI), policy management, JAIN, ACE/TAO, Apache, SNMP Agent, WebUI and etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES

-Contributing to communication protocols development in SS7 and IMS (SIP, Diameter, etc.), SNMP, SMI or SLEE (Service Logic Execution Environment).
-System engineering and requirement analysis for new features of communication protocols.
-Software design and implementation.
-System level integration and testing.
-Providing technical support to service application development
-Providing technical support to engineering service team for various products

REQUIREMENTS

-Very good experience with software development and testing with C++ (Linux/Unix, OOA/D/P), Java experience is a plus.
-Strong knowledge and background in UNIX network programming (TCP/IP, SCTP).
-Strong knowledge and background in telecommunication and IMS protocols (SS7/SIP/Diameter, etc.), SIP/TCAP/SIGTRAN development experience is a plus.
-Strong communication skill in English.
-Highly self-motivated, good problem-solving skill, good team work.
-BS or above degree in computer science, electronic engineering or related field with project/work experience.
-Database skill and experience is a plus (Oracle, TimesTen, PostgresSQL, MySQL, etc.).
-Experience with SNMP protocol is a plus.
-Experience with CORBA, Apache is a plus.
