Technical Marketing Engineer – Contractor

Job description

You will be closely working with FAEs and OEMs to support design wins through providing leading performance to win local competition. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Influencing OEMs to adopt Intel platform and technologies
• Building up solid performance benchmark database of Intel processor/platform according to Intel’s OEMs’ product lineup requirements
• Creating competitive analysis from a technical perspective
• Developing and presenting technical training materials including benchmarking methodology and creative demo tools which demonstrates Intel technology leadership
• Working with the field sales team to help resolve customers benchmark questions and/or issues

Qualifications

You must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant educational qualification and have 1+ years IT/PC industry experience. You should be an excellent team player, work well with others in geographically dispersed organizations, and multiplex time well between multiple diverse tasks and activities. You should be self-motivated, able to work independently and have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English. Additional qualifications include:

• Ability to analyze the performance data
• Ability to work well in a fast paced and interrupt driven environment
• Solid Technical knowledge of computer Architecture, BIOS, Windows* OS, Intel architecture and chipsets would be an added advantage
• Good awareness of the PC technology trend and standards
• Knowledge of industry benchmarking tools such as PCMark, SysMark, 3DMark or similar would be an added advantage
• Knowledge of C, C++, and/or other programming or scripting languages would be an added advantage
• Fast learning of new technologies
