BUG物语

1980年,还在日本北海道大学研究生院攻读研究生的4个志同道合的年轻人共同成立了BUG公司。注册资本为7亿9880万日元,现有从业人员117人,平均年营业额为13亿3300万日元(根据2006年9月数据)。

Engineer for Specific Hardware
R&D of Hardware and Component for Specific Product.

1. Job Description

  • Design of Product and Electric components.
  • Various engineering development factors into products in compliance with specifications, and executing prototype production and evaluation to finalize products ready for volume production
  • Satisfying safety standards and other criteria required for products, and required performance (quality of image and effectiveness, operability and others)

2. Product Category

  • Consumer and Non-consumer products depended upon Image Handling and Communication.
  • For instance, Gateway(Router), Mobile Phone and Video Surveillance System, and so on.

3. Development Environment

  • Personal computers (Win-Tel) and OS (Windows XP or above, UNIX/LINUX/BSD)
  • Software related to MS-Office
  • CAD System for circuit design.

4. Required Engineering Skills

  • Knowledge of electric and electronic circuits

Algorithm Development and S/W implementation for Highly Image Handling and Network System.
The actual work is divided into:

  • Platform-independent S/W implementation and optimization
  • Platform-dependent S/W optimization and tuning
  • Implementation of prototype system

  • Programming : Experience in developing applications with C and C++

Working Conditions

Only for Reference.
1. Period One year. The commencing date is tentatively April 1, 2008.
It will be fixed upon the receipt of your working visa. The contract is renewable for the maximum of 5 years (4 renewals), subject to mutual written consent.
2. Assignment at Location Product Design at Sapporo city JAPAN
3. Salary
-Yearly Compensation - Deductions
2,798,400JYN/yearly pay (Last Year)
The yearly compensation shall consist of the monthly salary.
All compensation will be paid in Japanese yen..
233,200JYN (Last Year) will be paid each month.
In addition, a bonus will be paid only in winter during first year. And a bonus will be paid in 3 installments per year during second year.(in summer, winter and at the end of each fiscal year).
The total bonus amount will be ranged based on achievement of the company and your performance evaluation submitted by the business unit head.
Statutory taxes, social insurance premiums, health insurance fees and all other amounts required to be paid by the Japanese law will be deducted from your monthly income. The total of the deductions varies according to your income, marital status, and the place of residence, but it usually comes to a total between 15% - 25% of your gross income. Local taxes will be deducted during the succeeding year of your residency in Japan.
4.Health Insurance You are required to join the company health insurance (Kenko Hoken).
5.Paid Leaves 8 days (includes sick leaves) for the first year in addition to the regular company holidays until April 1st - September 30th. 14 days for the second year until October 1st- September 30th.
6.Commuting Expenses Commutation expenses by public transportation from your home to office will be paid by the company in accordance with the Rules and Regulations of your working place.
7. Housing A housing will be provided by B.U.G Inc. as a company condo or apartment. The company will be only responsible for housing contract, the rental deposit, key money, and the agent fee, and unless otherwise specified herein, you will be requited to pay any other costs (including, but not limited to, copy fee of key ) to be incurred with respect to such housing contract.
The company will also bear the part that exceeds 13,000 JYN (Last Year) of the rent per month. You will be required to pay 13,000 JYN (Last Year) per month. as a rent. You will be also responsible for any damages or costs of repair which will occur in relation to such housing of condo or apartment.
If the company pays, at its sole discretion, such damages or costs of repair instead of you, the company will charge you such damages or costs, if any, according the housing contract at the time of your resignation.
Utility charges will be paid at your costs by you individually.
8. On Arrival
- Arrival Allowance 200,000JYN (Last Year) will be paid you upon your arrival.
