Position Title:  Associate Marketing Operations Analyst

Location:       Needham, MA

 

Role Overview:

The Associate Marketing Operations Analyst will provide support for two main projects within the Marketing Operations team.  They will use Microsoft Excel, Quickbase, Oracle iProcurement to forecast the current marketing program spend for each quarter.  They will become experts in Quickbase and help marketing budget owners reconcile the variance between the budget and actual expense.  In addition, they will report the up-to-date forecasted expense to Finance support each month to ensure accurate expense numbers. 

 

The other project will focus on using Siebel Marketing and Siebel Sales to route leads to the appropriate sales channel (either VAR partners, Inside / Tele-Sales, and/or direct sales teams).  They will become the experts on the systems and help train or answer questions from sales on how to use Siebel to manage their leads. 

 

This individual must speak English, have excellent communication skills and be detail oriented.

 

Responsibilities

Budget management project

·         Manage queue of incoming purchase orders to roll up accurate forecast

o        Upload purchase orders from Oracle iProcurement and Microsoft Excel into Quickbase to get accurate and timely variance to budget

o        Work with marketing budget owners worldwide to determine accuracy of your report in Quickbase

o        Update purchase order information if missing/inaccurate (such as cancellations and changes in amounts)

o        Submit forecast to Finance monthly

·         Verify expense between Marketing budget owners and Quickbase

o        Send variance report from Quickbase weekly

o        Notify Marketing of any over budget situations

o        Get feedback on purchase order from Marketing

·         Provide basic support for Marketing by helping them manage to their budget

o        Answer basic questions on purchase order details

 

Lead management project

·         Manage queue of incoming leads to route to appropriate sales rep

o        Analyze lead (based on location, revenue, etc.) to determine which sales rep should receive leads

o        Work with Sales Ops to determine account assignment for new prospect accounts

o        Re-assign leads that were sent to wrong sales person

o        Update lead information if missing/ inaccurate (such as whether VAR/ direct account)

·         Coordinate leads between marketing and sales

o        Create Sales Opportunities in Siebel Sales or Siebel PRM for sales reps or VARs

o        Notify sales of incoming leads

o        Get feedback on leads from Sales

 

Requirements

·Bachelor degree

·Fluent English communication skill

·Quick learning ability

·Team player, and strong team-working spirit

·Database management experience would be a prefer, such as CRM, Siebel, or Oracle, etc.

Generic Responsibilities

The ideal candidate is passionate about computers and has experience with MCAD/3D-Modelling with a genuine interest in client/server applications. Eager to learn, they are able to provide creative solutions to complex issues by leveraging their technical expertise given all the constraints dictated by the customer’s environment (limited schedule, restricted access, etc.)
