Pirelli's 2008 calendar set in Shanghai
Pirelli has chosen Shanghai as the setting for its 2008 calendar, with movie star Maggie Cheung among the women gracing its pages in acknowledgment of China's growing importance as an economic and cultural force.
The calendar comes out on November 29 - two days after the opening of a Pirelli plant in Yanzhou city in China's Shandong region. The plant will make tyres for a country whose burgeoning economy has turned it into one of the world's biggest car markets.
Despite the publicity usually associated with the calendar's publication, it is not for sale to the public.
Pirelli, owned by Italian conglomerate Pirelli & C , treats it as an exclusive Christmas gift for people whose names figure on a closely guarded mailing list. Those known to be on it include Prince Charles and Bono, frontman for the Irish rock band U2.
The calendar's print run will be about 20,000 copies, about 10,000 less than last year's number.
"It's to preserve its exclusivity," said Pirelli.
The calendar is famous for its artistic portraits of beautiful women - and sometimes men.
The first one came out in 1964, featuring sensual shots of female models in Majorca by Robert Freeman, the photographer for the Beatles.

2008 Pirelli Calendar共邀请了catherine mcneil,coco rocha ,gemma ward,doutzen,张曼玉,caroline trentini,sasha,杜鹃,ageness,lily donalson等12名超模和名人参与拍摄。

Pirelli Calendar将于2007年11月29日在上海香格里拉大酒店为其2008年度Calendar举行盛大而奢华的Launching，被邀请的300余名VIP均是来自欧洲各地的名流、全球企业的总裁及pirelli的贵宾客户。

2008 Pirelli Calendar Launching上海地区的策划由C-lagence（法国知名EVENT Company）承办。

300多名VIP将于11月底抵达上海，在上海停留三天左右时间，其间会有游览上海的日程安排。因此需要随行的翻译陪同，C-lagence决定面向优秀大学生群招募陪同接待人员。
工作时间：11月29至31日（星期三至五）
工作内容：简单的陪同翻译和向导工作，不需要说很多话，最主要是做好司机和VIP之间的沟通（司机都不会说英语）

具体要求：
1 女生，身高160cm+，形象较好
2 英语口语流利会意大利语、法语或其他西方语的话更好
3 有很强的应变能力，聪明机灵
4 了解上海

报酬：400元/天

本人是上外大三的学生，因为这个项目logistics部分的负责人是我很好的朋友，所以请我帮他在大学生中广纳贤才，个人认为Pirelli的这个年度庆典就是一个欧洲上层名流的私人派对，很好的机会。
