Research Assistant
Location: Hong Kong
Duration: several months ~ 1 year.
Responsibilities
1. Implement a mobile commerce application platform.
2. Assist to do some theory research on mobile commerce recommender system (such as Bayesian Network, Collaborative Filter).
3. Maybe help to do a little work on machine learning.
Requirements
1. Major in computer science with good mathematics knowledge, or Major in mathematics with good programming skills
2. If you are a student at school, please get the approval of your supervisor to ensure enough time.
3. Familiar with the theory knowledge about Bayesian Network, Recommender System (such as Collaborative Filter). (Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing are plus).
4. Good Programming Skills: Java (JSP, Servlet), J2ME (programming on PDA or Mobile Phone), Web Server Knowledge (Tomcat).
5. Good English Writing is plus.
