Job Description:

Senior software engineers working on embedded Linux Java, to develop UI framework software of mobile devices, to debug& fix software defects to guarantee Motorola product on-time delivery with quality.
As a member of the team you will be expected to assist in all phases of the software lifecycle and more specifically will be expected to:
- Analyze software requirements and specify APIs for a new feature
- Develop designs to meet the high-level and detailed requirements
- Review the designs and code with peers on the project
- Debug and fix software defects to guarantee product’s on-time delivery
- Support and maintain software releases

Requirements:

- Passion for technology and innovation
- Solid computer science background
- Strong design/coding/debugging skills
- Proficiency in C++ is required.
- Experience in GUI development, be familiar with mechanism of event handling, rendering and window management etc.
- Experience in XML/CSS/JS will be a big plus
- Experience in component based development will be a big plus
- A BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical equivalent is required, and MS degree is preferred
- Software development experience with full release cycles of major software is preferred.
- Good oral and written communication skills in both English and Chinese
- A good spirit of working as a team player
