We strive to continually extend our brands’ positions as leaders in the development and implementation of advanced performance technologies TaylorMade-Adidas Golf is currently looking for its: MARKETING DIRECTOR Shanghai based You would be based in our headquarter located in Shanghai to manage the Greater China Area. Your missions will be: The Marketing Director’s mission is to position TaylorMade-adidas Golf as the leading golf brand in Greater China with consumers, golfers and the trade; and to build, develop, and manage the best marketing organization and partnerships in Greater China. He/she will achieve this mission by: Constructing an annual marketing plan that coincides with regional and global objectives and supports the Greater China business plans Consistently and creatively communicating the brands messages, values, and symbols Creating “pull” at the retail level so that product turns according to the strength of the brands Developing and driving programs to create more opportunities for golf participation and market growth Developing and optimizing partnerships within Greater China, i.e. Chinese Golf Association, The Golf Channel, etc. Key Responsibilities: Planning Drive the development and execution of marketing strategies and marketing plans aligned with TaylorMade-adidas Golf business strategies and in line with global and regional guidelines Work with Managing Director, and other senior management in developing the Area’s strategy Management Guide and set performance goals for Marketing Communications and Sports Marketing Ensure integration of all marketing functions, including the product management Provide guidance and support where needed to the marketing functions in Hong Kong and Taiwan Serve as the main point of contact to Regional office in Hong Kong, and disseminate information and direction to the Greater China countries Manage value-for-money and commercial benefit from all marketing expenditure Financial Recommend and manage Marketing Working Budget Set up tracking tools for the function Control and maximize the use of budget within the approved level System and Processes Proactively drive the development of efficient and effective processes across Marketing departments People Management Develop regular workforce planning for Marketing function Set performance and development plans with direct reports; review and evaluate performance Proactively drive capabilities development of Marketing teams and provide on the job coaching for direct reports Closely cooperate with HR to develop and support the TaylorMade-adidas Golf and adidas Group culture, in consistency with brand identity Generate a high level of teamwork between all departments.
