Chinese-English Translators (Part Time)

ww***com[点击查看], the first English language online China financial review, invites a talented translator to join our team.  

Responsibilities:

1.       Translating and rewriting commentary articles from Chinese to English

2.       Researching and tracking the update development of economic/financial/business issues and events

3.       Preparing background information for editors

4.       Web-editing in English

Qualifications:

1.       Skills in Chinese-English translation and rewriting.

2.       Education backgrounds:

master's degree in English, or bachelor's degree in English with workable knowledge in economics and finance;

master's/bachelor's degree in journalism with superb English proficiency;

master's/bachelor's degree in economics/finance/management/accounting with superb English proficiency, or bi-major in English/finance/economics  

3.       Good English writing skills and good sense of journalistic style

4.       Knowledge of economics/finance/energy/public finance/political science

5.       Strong capability of researching and writing on issues clearly and concisely

6.       Skills of web-based publication

7.       Intension to develop in international financial/business journalism/analysis/writing

8.       Responsibility to meeting deadline on daily basis

Candidates can expect to work with experienced financial journalists and native English language editors. A part time translator will have chance to be transferred to a full time position.
