Position 1: Production Associate/Graphics 生产顾问/图片 (full time)

Production Associate at SmithStreetSolutions are an instrumental part of creating client presentations.  Production Associate interacts with professional teams from across the globe and must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.  This job is open for people who are looking to develop themselves for the long-run.  You will improve your English language skills and cultural understanding by working side-by-side with talented foreign employees.  Moreover, you are going to get a deep understanding about how major global corporations make decisions because you will put together the presentations and documents that are used to turn ideas into action.  

Responsibilities

1.        Create English-language client presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint
2.        Collaborate with global teams to design and edit presentations

Requirements
The most important thing that we are looking for in our employees is attitude and outlook.  We are looking for people who want to develop the firm, and grow their own skills and career.  However, other things being equal, certain qualifications are desired:
1.        Undergraduate degree attained
2.        Art/Design, Business, or English-language degrees are a plus
3.        Microsoft Powerpoint, MS Word, and MS Excel skills
4.        Good English communication skills - both written and verbal
5.        Typing speed equal to or exceeding commonly-used standards

Position 2: Intern Associate (实习顾问)

This job is open for people who are looking to develop themselves for the long-run.  If you join us, you will be trained with the best management practices from the US, Europe, and China.  You will be meticulous about getting every detail right, delivering what we call "completed staff work".   You will improve your English language skills and cultural understanding by working side-by-side with talented foreign employees.  Moreover, you are going to gain a deep understanding about how major global corporations make decisions because you will put together the presentations and documents that are used to turn ideas into action.  
Experienced Intern Associates may progress onto the position of full-time Associate and later Project Manager.

Responsibilities
In a fast-growing and dynamic company like SmithStreetSolutions you will have the opportunity to define a role that suits your talents and interests. Initially, we see your responsibilities along a number of broad areas:
1.        Deliver high quality client work e.g. PowerPoint presentations, translated documents, etc.
2.        Conduct basic research and analysis for consulting projects
3.        Serve as a campus liaison during the school year for SmithStreetSolutions for recruiting talent
4.        Contribute to the growth and operational development of the firm

Requirements
The most important thing that we are looking for in our employees is attitude and outlook.  We are looking for people who want to develop the firm, and grow their own skills and career.  However, other things being equal, certain qualifications are desired:
1.        Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree candidate from a top university in Shanghai     (proximity to our office in Yang Pu is an advantage)
2.        Excellent spoken and written English
3.        Mastery of additional languages is a huge plus
4.        Good abilities in MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
5.        Additional software skills are a plus including MS Access, Photoshop, SAS, etc.

Position 3: Translator 翻译 (full time)

Responsibilities
In a fast-growing and dynamic company like SmithStreetSolutions you will have the opportunity to define a role that suits your talents and interests. Initially, we see your responsibilities along a number of broad areas:
1.        Reading through original material and rewriting it in the target language, ensuring that the meaning of the source text is retained
2.        Using specialist dictionaries, thesauruses and reference books to find the closest             equivalents for terminology and words used
3.        Proofreading and editing final translated versions
4.        Liaising with clients to discuss any unclear points
5.        Consulting with experts in specialist areas
6.        Managing and sourcing freelance translators and writers for specific jobs
Contributing to the growth and operational development of the firm

Requirements

2.        National translation certificates attained 2-years plus in translation experience

5.        Primarily-looking for English-language translators, but other languages including French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Korean, and Japanese will be considered.

Position 4:  Data Analyst

The focus of our new project is to create a comprehensive database for our client.  Each team member will have the opportunity to work with a group of international professionals. In this group, the project assistant will be able to use and improve upon their analytical, graphical, and organizational skills. By working in a mostly English environment, team members will also be able to employ their English skills on a daily basis with our native English-speaking staff.  The skills gained during this part-time job will prove useful when applying to future jobs.
Requirement:
1.        Associate degree or above in any discipline; (language major is a plus)
2.        Basic skills of English reading 
3.        Detailed-oriented personality

Position 5: Admin Assistant
