IBM CSDL Group: DB2z traditional regression test team
Position Available: 1
Location: Beijing
Internship status: At least 4 full working days per week, lasting more than 6 months, long term and stable internship
Expected onboard date: 2008/05/01
Work site: XiErQi, Beijing

Team introduction:

DB2z traditional regression test team is one of key teams of DB2z QA department in CSDL. Traditional means DB2Engine on
IBM zServer(Mainframe) which covers scope of all functions of DB2z.

This team undertakes regression test of all DB2z fix before deliver to worldwide customers as well as next generation DB2z under development. The team also undertakes partial functional verification test case development for next generation DB2z with colleagues in IBM Silicon Valley Lab at San Jose, CA USA.

In this team, you can get opportunity to touch techniques of IBMs core Database product as well as IBMsCash Box - zServer/zOS.

Responsibility:

1. DB2z traditional regression test project.

Qualification:
1. First/second year graduate student.
2. Major in computer science or related, good education background.
3. Solid knowledge of Database.
4. Development/test experience on applications with C, COBOL or Jave.
5. Good written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English.
6. Excellent communication skills and good team spirit,Strongly self-motivated.
7. Know zServer/zOS and have passion on this platform is a plus.
