SQL Engineer

Job Overview

This position is responsible to operate at a logical product group or
solution level within Professional Services. The Consultant is expected to
be able to position and present the benefits of the solution with the client
and/or install the solution at the clients site.

Key Responsibilities

? Install and configure CA technology to meet customer requirements during
Trials and/or implementations according to CAs Best Practices.

? Provide technical support as needed, resolving client technical issues
during engagement.

? Support PM with project planning as needed.

? Complete schedules, time reporting, project status and any other
documentation required in a timely manner.

Preferred Education

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or business related field.

Work Experience

Typically a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in the IT industry. Candidate
should have experience at a professional IT services company or software
provider, and have a broad understanding of technology concerns. Business
understanding is required to demonstrate/explain how CA technology can
fulfill the business requirements of customers.

Specific Skills and Certifications

? Solid SQL language knowledge, rich experience on SQL Server and Oracle
configuration and programming.

? Ability to code simple program (no particular programming tool is
required) is necessary.

? Strong English skill.

? Good communication and written skills. Certification in one or more
Solution areas plus two courses per year. Leverage knowledge of all the
major products within the solution group plus at least 2 complimentary
products. Articulate an overview of their respective Brands vision,
capabilities and solution offerings to both internal and external clients.
Certification in one Solution areas. Storage, Security, Enterprise Mgmt, etc
knowledge. Pre-sales consultants - good presentation skills. Ability to
create presentations with PowerPoint and demonstrate product. Ability to
implement basic product functionality to assist in meeting trial objectives.
Establishes credibility, expertise and trust with Management, Customers,
Sales, CRO, and CA TS fellow workers. Leverage their knowledge of and

I18n QA Manager



Job Overview

This position is responsible for the successful design, execution and
reporting of quality initiatives and tests which ensure the success of
translated, and/or English, software products on the target locales. This
function will typically be focused on a specific product area across
multiple locales, or a single locale for multiple product areas.

Key Responsibilities

? Monitor and control the activities and performance of staff under his/her
supervision.

? Identify the primary goals for establishing quality objectives.

? Ensure that proper security measures are applied and followed at all
times.

? Obtain relevant data on quality related problems which occur in products
and arrange for such problems to be brought to the attention of the i18n PM
and/or the Development Manager for appropriate actions.

? Assign, and where necessary, re-distribute administrative duties to
personnel to meet various workload pressures and variations.

? Define tasks, goals and measurements of staff.

? Train new hires and external groups on the subject of i18n/l10n as
necessary;

? Give product education to external groups on localized products as
necessary.

? Work with the i18n PMs to assign projects to QA Testers, QA Engineers and
Senior QA engineers as defined by I18N PM and monitor their progress

? Coordinate test environment setup and hardware scheduling in accordance
with the schedule given by I18N PM

? Interface with I18N PM

? Work closely with the relevant country field staff to educate, inform and
disseminate relevant product knowledge; and solicit information on overall
localized product quality and applicable product information
