[POSITION 1]: CORPORATE FINANCE ANALYST

Job Description and Responsibilities:
Working with minimal supervision, Analysts are expected to proactively source, evaluate and close transactions, ensuring we deliver exceptional value to our clients. Analysts will work closely with Senior analysts, Managers and the Director of RI China. Key areas of responsibility include:
1. Research: Proactively identify, research and assess new industries, identify investment opportunities, approach interesting companies and build industry networks and expertise.
2. Deal-sourcing: Proactively source deals and make initial contact with new clients through participating in conferences, trade-shows and networking events; develop the firm’s network of contacts within the PE and other relevant communities – financial advisors, legal and accounting firms, universities and research institutes, and government bodies.
3. Analysis and due-diligence: Screen and analyze new investment opportunities according to pre-defined metrics, prepare investment market briefs, present investment cases together with Director to the management and investment committee. Engage and manage 3rd parties in due-diligence process.

Requirements:
1. Logical thinking; Acumen business; Excellent project execution and management; Good cross-culture communication; Customer-oriented service
2. English Native speaker. Australian, English, Canadian or American is preferred;
3. Business, Marketing, Law, MBA or relevant degree is preferred;
4. Basic Chinese communication skill is required, good China market understanding is preferred.
