Job Title: Engineering Manager – Developer Technology (Project: DevTech)

Position Summary
Adobe Creative Suite is composed of several software products including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc. Most of these products provide software development kits (SDKs) to enable 3rd party extensions or solutions in a variety of media markets. Developer Technology (DevTech) team is responsible for creating these SDKs that include software APIs, documents, sample code and tools. Additionally, DevTech team also supports 3rd party developers on SDK usage and improves SDK contents according to the changes in products and/or customers’ needs.
As an engineering manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of DevTech engineers to produce SDK content that describes C++, Java and scripting-based extensibility. In addition, you will engage with 3rd party developers in the Asia-Pacific region to get feedback about SDK content and extensibility features in Adobe products. You will also need to hire and build the team during future expansion of the team. Based on requirements from product teams, you will define SDK content such as sample code, developer tools and documentation. You will create project plans, establish schedules and manage your team to deliver high-quality SDKs on time. As a leader, you will set clear expectations for individual team members, measure results and maintain high standards of performance. As the team works closely with US-based teams, you will be responsible for frequent communication with your DevTech counter parts in the U.S. and coordinating project status with product teams world-wide.

Qualifications
5+ years of experience working with C++ (must have)
At least 3+ years experience as a technical team lead or manager, which should include responsibility for developing and executing project plans (must have)
Experience of desktop application development on Windows or Mac OS (highly desired)
Excellent verbal and written English (must have)
Good knowledge and practice in software development process and methodology (must have)

Job Title: (Senior) Software Engineer – InDesign Engineering（Desktop Publishing Specialist） (Project: InDesign)

Position Summary
InDesign is the world’s leading professional digital desktop publishing software. Adobe will build an extension engineering team in China to participate in the development of this product. We’re seeking a strong software engineer with rich desktop publishing domain (newspaper, magazine and book publishing) knowledge and experience.
Scope of the work mainly includes:
Provide strong support to the engineering team concerning desktop publishing domain knowledge
Be responsible for designing, coding and troubleshooting software modules.
Participate in requirements analysis and design.
Collaborate with the rest of the team and deliver high quality software within schedule.

Qualifications

We’re searching for a strong lead engineer for this team. The position requires approximately 30% project management effort and 70% design/coding effort. Scope of the work mainly includes:
Support engineering manager to make project plan and lead the team to work on detailed implementation and execution.
Not only be responsible for designing, coding and troubleshooting software but provide technical support to the rest of the team members as well.
Participate in the communication with product manager and core team to define / clarify technical requirements.
Participate in regular project tracking and meeting.

Job Title: LiveCycle Lead Development Engineer (Project: LiveCycle)

Position Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to do software development on Adobe’s enterprise product line, LiveCycle at Adobe China R&D ! Be one of the first development engineers in a new group that is forming. You, a Lead Java developer, will
own development for features of medium to large complexity, from turning requirements into architectural and feature specifications, to design and writing code that is reliable, maintainable, performance optimized, secure and world-ready. You will be an early member of a new team that transitions ownership of a LiveCycle component from NorthAmerica engineering teams to Adobe China R&D. You need to be highly motivated, with excellent ability to research and learn new technologies quickly. Good verbal as well as written English communications are essential.

Responsibilities
• Understanding customer requirements, writing specifications for software features to meet those requirements and estimates schedules with minimal to no supervision

• Creating unit tests and test collateral to prove that new features work

Job Title: Black Box Quality Engineer of Core Tech (Project: Core Tech)

Position Summary
As a member of the CoreTech QE team, youll be performing black box testing of Adobe CoreTech libraries. You will be responsible for testing these libraries in Adobe applications such as Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Flash. The position involves working in a small, focused engineering team consisting of senior developers, black-box, and white-box quality engineers. The candidate will also work with other Core Technology component QE teams using consistent QE best practices.
In addition, responsibilities include communicating risk based on technical knowledge and experience.

Testing Responsibilities
• Test Plan development
• Test case identification and development
• Weekly and daily testing prior to release to application teams
• Testing the libraries to support specific features requested by the application teams
• Regression/investigation of defects logged by application QE teams

Qualifications
BSCS + 3-5 years of QE experience is required.
