Transport (传输部门)

Software Engineer (Transport CP)



Job Description:

- Develop application software for the Tellabs 7100 Optical Transport System. Specific responsibilities will include

- Implementation and unit testing of routing and signaling protocols (OSPF-TE and RSVP-TE) to support the ASON/GMPLS Control Plane

- Additional duties may include enhancement and maintenance of an ASON simulator to support scalability testing

- Additionally, candidates can expect to participate in detailed designs, design reviews, troubleshooting and engineering support.



Requirements:

- 1+ years experience in network protocol development

- Strong communication skills and programming in C/C++  are required

- Prior experience in MPLS/GMPLS is preferred

- Additional Desired Qualifications:  Education: BSEE/BSCS or equivalent experience required





Engineer (Transport 7100 NE Firmware)



Job Description:

- Design, code, and test embedded firmware for a Dense Wave Division Multiplexer platform.

- This involves firmware development for device drivers for large ASICs and FPGAs, as well as Linux BSP and OS integration.

- Individual will also participate in product requirements analysis and refinement and SW integration.



Requirements:

- Zero to 4 years embedded software development experience on Telecommunication products, with focus on implementation of user provisioning and monitoring of the system.

- Experience in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, and proficiency writing C++ code in real world applications.

- Experience with real-time debugging and testing in a Linux and VxWorks environment using Clearcase.

- Knowledge of SONET and Data protocols required.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in English.

- Bachelor degree or above





Engineer (Transport 7100 NE Application)



Job Description:

- Design, code, and test embedded application software for a Dense Wave Division Multiplexer platform.

- Development will focus on TL1 language interface as well as embedded application development involving PM and protection switching protocols of LAPS, UPSR, and BLSR.

- Individual will also participate in product requirements analysis and refinement and SW integration.



Requirements:

- Zero to 4 years embedded software development experience on Telecommunication products, with focus on implementation of user provisioning and monitoring of the system.

- Experience in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, and proficiency writing C++ code in real world applications.

- Experience with real-time debugging and testing in an embedded computing environment, TL1, and Clearcase.

- Knowledge of SONET and Data protocols required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Engineer (Broadband EMS Development)



Job Description:

- Develop Tellabs T1000/1150 Element Management System (EMS) applications with responsibility to ensure consistent implementations and problem resolutions.

- Lead staff members to develop applications on Element Management System (EMS) to interface with Operations Support System (OSS).

- Job expectations also include requirements analysis and breakdown to high level designs, writing detailed design documentation, and developing code in C++ or Java.



Requirements:



- Candidates must have excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in English.

- A minimum of 2 years software development experience in developing management systems for telecom or datacom products.

- Typical management concepts like fault/performance/configuration/protection are required.

- Fluent c++ and java language  programming skills

- Knowledge on Solaris is desired

- Knowledge on CORBA and TL1 is desired.

- BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or Equivalent





Engineer (Broadband EMS Test)



Job Description:

- Be responsible for working within a team of test engineers designing, developing and executing automated tests.

- Responsibilities will include setup of test environment, design, coding, debugging and execution of automated test scripts in a simulated environment, reporting of project status, reporting of product defects back to the Development team, etc.

- Must be self motivated and be able to work with minimal supervision within a team environment.



Requirements:

- Qualified candidates should have +2 years EMS testing experience on configure, monitor, provision, and maintain network devices.

- Extensive experience in design and execution of test plans and test cases.

- Understanding CORBA/SNMP MIB structure concepts is desired.

- Test automation development skill with VB script and TCL programming is a plus

      -    Knowledge of IBM/Rational and/or Mercury test tools is a plus.

-     Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
