Position: Software Development Engineer in Testing (SDET)
Location: Beijing

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking several senior level software engineers with both of strong programming skills and good test sense. The project is to develop a new software product for Microsoft that is used to manage hundreds of thousands of desktop computers in large organizations and enterprise environments. New cutting edge technologies used in this project include Silverlight, Microsoft Communication Foundation, .NET 3.0, etc.

Ideal candidates should have at least 3 years of solid experience in developing enterprise-level software applications. Selected candidates will work as SDET in our delivery center in Beijing, and work closely with Microsoft’s product team in Redmond, USA. Main responsibilities include debugging, writing test code used for test automation, bug investigation, and developing complex test scenarios.

This is a very challenging job that provides successful applicants with many opportunities to improve their technical and English skills. Team members with high working performance will be provided very good opportunities to work onsite at Redmond, USA.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

- Holding BS degree or above in Computer Science or related disciplines
- At least 3 years of experience in software development; strong coding and debugging skills, strong logic thinking
- Good communication skills; Fluent in English reading and writing, able to communicate smoothly with oversea team in email and phone call
- Passion for, and commitment to software quality
- Quick self learning, attention to detail, organized, methodical approach, drive for results
- Working experience in software industry and a proven track record of shipping high quality, scalable software

PREFERRED SKILLS

- Knowledge on Silverlight, Microsoft Communication Foundation, Microsoft .NET 3.0 is a big plus
- Familiar with , previous experience in developing web applications
- Experience in test enterprise level software applications handling complex business transactions
- Experience in managing technical team consisting of 3 – 5 persons
