NSG develops hardware and software for scalable high performance,elegantly-designed, leading-edge x64-based systems. Our systems are optimized for the leading Operating Systems: Sun Solaris,Linux,VMware and Microsoft Windows.
NSG is looking for an experienced, talented and creative test engineer with 1-3 years working experience in system level quality assurance. This individual is responsible for the test development and execution on Suns x86 platforms.
Job Description
A successful candidate will work with local team members & Shanghai debug
team to support post-GA projects test activities, and interact with US based product and development teams.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
- x86 system architecture and PC technologies
- Strong analytical, diagnostic and problem solving skills
- Working experience on Solaris, Linux, and/or Windows Operating systems
- Experience in test development and test execution
- Good storage knowledge
- Solid C programming and/or Perl/shell scripting languages skills
- Good communication skills in both English and Chinese
- Good team player
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE:
BIOS, network, PCI cards, Storage
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
Manufacturing test experience
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
MS or BS with 1-3 years
MINIMUM LEVEL OF EDUCATION:
BSCS, BSEE
