JOB TITLE: Portal Consultant
LOCATION: Beijing, Shanghai is optional
Technology Consulting professionals are responsible for delivering technology innovation and providing the backbone of our systems integration business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
- Driving, supervising and reviewing technology diagnosis and assessment activities
- Identifying opportunities for technology-related improvement based on benchmark data and doing high-level cost benefit analysis
- Developing a high level design which supports a robust technology solution, taking into account the user requirements, technical requirements, etc.
- Driving technology architecture and infrastructure design activities
- Reviewing and supervising design components
- Developing design and transition approaches
- Driving and supervising technology build, test and deployment activities
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and supporting application development
PROFESSIONAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS
1,Practice experience:
- Know web 2.0 and ajax mashup
- Enterprise Information Portal.
- Content Management.
- Enterprise Knowledge Management.
- B/S structure and multi-layer system planning and enterprise architecture.
2,Product familiar (one or more) to:
- Portal product : SAP EP, IBM Websphere Portal, Sun Portal, Bea Weblogic Portal, Microsoft Sharepoint and others.
- Content Management: Vignette,Microsoft,Interwoven,Documentam and others.
- Knowledge Management: IBM, Microsoft, and others.
- Multi-tier application architecture: J2EE application server such as IBM websphere,Bea weblogic ,Sun one,and others.
3,Main capability need:
- BS in Computer Science or related major, MS preferred
- Presentation and customer convincing capability.
- Project and Team Leadership capability.
- Enterprise overview architecture.
- Both biz view and tech view.
