Job Position: Senior Analysis Engineer

Responsibility:

1. Work with customers to define, plan and perform analysis projects. Communicate analysis results and recommendations;

2. Coordinate work with appropriate team leader to manage multiple projects and multiple resources to deliver analysis results to business unit customers in an efficient, concise, and professional manner.

3. Responsible for execution of structural analysis projects of fabricated structures and/or components from all types of Caterpillar products.

4. manage Analysis Team; team strategic planning and business development; recruiting, interviewing, training, mentoring, and reviewing team

5. Occasional travel to Caterpillar business units might be required.

Requirement:

1. Master or PhD in Engineering (Aeronautical, Mechanical, Civil - Structures, Engineering Mechanics or related engineering field), at least 5 years of industry experience performing complex structural analyses.

2. Possess in depth knowledge of specific analysis software, including I-DEAS, Pro/E, NASTRAN, ABAQUS, DYNASTY, FESAFE, and DATK, Some familiarity with concepts of thermal stress analysis and heat transfer analysis is preferred.

3. Desired to have familiarity with a variety of heavy equipment and/or automotive components, power train components, engines, etc.

4. Experience with concepts of project management including: scope documents, time/resource/cost estimates and presentation of results.

5. Requires a self-starter with strong technical skills and recognized leadership/coaching potential and talent. Must have the ability to communicate technical information effectively to team members, as well as managers and engineers in client business units.

6. Good command of computer skills and with fluent English in writing and speaking.
