1.Principle Software Engineer ( UNIX - Development)
Duties:
As a senior member of our software engineering team your duties include designing, writing code,

developing and executing testing, debugging and troubleshooting for UNIX/Linux platforms and

documenting work and results.
This requires strong experience and skills in UNIX application code.

Principle Software Engineer (UNIX/LINUX)

Developer descriptions:

Software Engineer (Unix development) Job Description Duties include designing, writing code,

completing programming, developing and executing testing and debugging routines, and documenting

work and results.
• Must write in at least one mainstream OO language, (preferred proficiency in C, C++, or

JAVA).
Familiarity with Unix development environments, specifically Unix kernel debugging and Unix

file systems and NFS internals.
Ability to read a specification and develop code to implement the specification.
Full use and application of standard computer science and engineering principles, theories,

and concepts. Algorithms and systems are of particular interest.
Solid written & verbal communication skills.
Ability to work well in team environments.
Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to learn and apply new tools and applications.


2. Principle QA Engineer (Linux/Unix)
Skills and Experience:
3-8 years as a QA professional in testing and automation development
Ability to translate software system architectures into an integrated approach to software test

including integration / functional / system test / performance / load / stress / scalability / etc.
Proficiency in C and Perl as drivers for automation
Experience in Linux/Unix administration, knowledge about file system, storage, web services, or

Linux kernel is desirable
Knowledge of agile development methodology, continuous integration / build. QA experience in agile

development environment is a plus
Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently
Work well with peers, project personnel and stakeholders within and outside the organization
Willingness to take challenge and learn new technologies continuously

Experience with Microsoft Cluster Service (MSCS), and Unix cluster environments including HACMP,

Veritas Cluster, HP MetroCluster is a plus.

Services (DFS) Engineering Group, responsible for developing state of the art features in the

content server. DFS is the core engineering group in Content Management & Archiving (CM&A) division

Expert knowledge of object oriented design & programming, especially in Java/J2EE system

environment
Experience building highly scalable & security web applications
Understanding of Web services and XML technologies.
Understanding of SOA, SaaS and Web 2.0.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
1+ years team management experience

Knowledge and experience of building SaaS 2.0 products
