Wind River is looking for a paid intern to assist with a number of hands-
on tasks for engineering project manager in a fast-growing environment.
- Technical development for engineering project management tools, web applications
, database applications, wiki and related information sources.
- Assist in project management data, infrastructure and metrics work
- Assist in software process documentation and SQA work
Intern will have the opportunity to gain hands on experience and knowledge
in software project management processes and tools development, as well
as requirement and configuration management systems (ClearQuest and ClearCase
)
Requirements:
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
- Fast learner, self starter and detail oriented
- Proficient in English
- Strong JavaScript and Perl programming skills
- Strong knowledge of HTML/Wiki experience
- Experience with developing web based tools
- Experience with SQL and Database Query
- Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office
- Experience with ClearQuest and/or ClearCase a plus
- Understand CMMI a plus
- Working on a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related
discipline
- Minimal 6 months internship with at least 32 hours/week
