1, Software Engineer – Java
Job Summary
Experienced Java programmer with a BSCS or equivalent degree willing to join a fast pace, high energy team writing enterprise level applications using Java (90%) and C/C++ (10%). The individual needs good organizational skills as well as good written and verbal communication skills.
Essential Functions
• Design and develop applications with a focus on object oriented methodology, planning for reliability, security, manageability, scalability, extensibility, performance and re-use.
• Participate in complete software development life cycle from functional specification to production system support.
• Provide technical expertise in the areas of architecture, design, and implementation
• Interact with other cross-functioning teams within the company.
• Gather, implement, and test critical system requirements.
• Write your own unit tests.
• Review documentation and code created by others.
• Quickly learn new technologies and evaluate their architectural applicability
“MUST” Qualifications
This is a tough job that gives unbeatable experience but we require talented people with a strong work ethic and the following qualifications:
• Education: BA/BS Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of Java development in a cross-platform environment.
• 5+ years software engineering development experience.
• Robust understanding of Java and the functionality provided in JDK 1.5 or later including the following java packages: io, nio, net, lang.reflect, sql, and util.
• In depth understand of other J2EE technologies including Servlets, JSP, JDBC, JavaMail, JNDI etc.
• Solid understanding of XML and XSDs.
• Proven ability to quickly troubleshoot and debug, especially in a multithreaded environment.
• Experience using distributed object technologies such as Web Services, SOAP, etc.
• Experience with at least one J2EE Application Server Environment (e.g., WebLogic, WebSphere, Resin, JBoss, Tomcat)
• Experience writing Ant script and JUnit test cases.
• Significant experience working in Linux environments.
• Detailed working knowledge of networking including TCP/IP, SMTP, DNS and HTTP(s).
• Experience delivering large-scale, high-traffic web-based systems.
• Experience with MVC frameworks targeting web based GUI solutions such as Struts, Spring or JSF.
• Database development experience using MySQL, SQL Server or Oracle.
• Other web development including HTML, JavaScript, Perl, CGI, AJAX, Perl, PHP, Python or similar scripting language.
• Familiarity with the entire development life cycle, including specification, design, development, documentation, quality assurance, release activities, and post-release support.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluently English writing and verbal is preferred.

2, QA Engineer – Linux
Job Summary
Develops, modifies, and executes software test plans to ensure Websense solutions meet high quality standards. Receives assignments from QA Manager and provides accurate estimates of testing tasks. Clearly reports test progress and quality risks.
Essential Functions
• Develops and executes the test strategy (plans, cases, etc.) for assigned areas.
• Logs defects into issues database and tracks them through closure.
• Configures workstations and operating environments as needed to complete assigned testing.
• Reports test results and maintains schedules for assigned features and functionality.
• Provides technical expertise on specific products, operating systems and specialized environments.
• May participate in the automation of tests.
• Assists technical services staff in the resolution of customer escalations.
Expectations
• Strong OS usage experience on Linux/Unix and Windows Server platforms.
• Good knowledge of application layer protocols including HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, DHCP, FTP, SMTP and SSH.

Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 2+ years testing computer software, experience in a multi-cultural environment would be an advantage.

• Familiarity with testing methodologies and the defect reporting process.
Preferred
• Technical experience on web proxy, gateway / firewall, sniffer protocol analysis and Cisco network devices is a plus.

3, Security Researcher
Job Summary
Security Researcher with experience in the areas of Malicious Code Analysis/Anti-Virus or Firewalls/IDS/IPS and other security related technologies. Will mainly responsible for Websense core tech modules research and development, deliver the best solutions to some challenging security technologies and prototyping, like gateway Stream Anti-virus Engine, Web 2.0 gateway protection, Anti-Spam Engine etc.

4, Data Quality Analyst (Finance)
Job Summary
Reporting to the Data Quality Team Lead, the Data Quality Analyst will be responsible for the data quality within the sales systems. They will act as contacts for all data cleansing in
, Softrax and Subscription Manager. They will work with the Sales, Sales Admin and Order Processing teams to ensure integrity of the data.

Job Summary
Answer telephone or written inquiries from customers regarding Websense and select third-party products, analyze software and system configurations to identify and diagnose customer-reported issues and recommend corrective actions, maintain records of customer contact to track customer history and report recurring problems to software development group, escalate complex issues to appropriate functional team and perform special projects as assigned.
Essential Functions
• Provide technical support via phone and email for Websense software products: answer technical inquiries, diagnose reported problems or configuration issues, recommend possible solutions, follow issue through to resolution or escalate if no resolution can be found.
• Document all technical inquiries and customer-reported problems in the customer tracking database, including the nature of the inquiry, and the resolution recommended.
• Multi-task, prioritize and organize all calls and e-mails sent to you and assigned to you.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding customer handling processes, service entitlement verification, customer registration and problem escalation.
• Maintain an electronic record of technical information to research possible solutions to customer-reported problems.
• Conduct user satisfaction surveys, and provide recommendations on process refinements to support the findings.
• Contribute potential technical workarounds or resolutions via interaction in technical discussions and via knowledge base documentation.

Qualifications
