Job Description:
- For desktop testers, some of the core responsibilities include: GUI/desktop applications testing. Internationalization testing (input method, font rendering, printing). Develops, maintain and executes Test Cases (automated/manual). Works with development organization to debug and troubleshoot issues in the course of testing activities.
- For tools/utility testers, search for, analyze, report, and track defects in Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Responsibilities include developing test scripts, executing test cases, debugging software problems, and operating automated test tools.
Job Requirements:
- Experience with testing activities such as preparing and executing Test Case
- Scripting skills with Perl or Python or Shell
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
- Experience with graphical application and internationalization testing is a plus
- Familiar with Linux Desktop (GNOME/KDE) and interest in the advancement of Linux Desktop is a plus
